The BoxTune app is here to help build your dream speaker box.

It does not give you a guess as to what box volume you need. It actually uses industry proven calculations to tune your box to exactly what you want it to be!

By entering specific Thiele-Small parameters from your subwoofers birth sheet, or from the internet if you no longer have your birth sheet, you can tune your box to your musical preferences.

You can choose between sealed or vented box types and get accurate box volumes and, when choosing vented, port lengths. There are even calculations to find out if a box you already have will sound the way you want it to, with your new subs, by showing you the Qtc value of the box when using your new subs Thiele-Small parameters. This gives you the unique opportunity to make sure you are not dooming your new subs to an early demise because of improper box volumes.

There is also a section with tips and tricks to aid you in building your own box. It includes box assembly pros and cons and recommendations on MDF thickness, and more!

This app will give you general cut sheets for calculated box volumes. The generic cut sheets will work, but of course not all vehicles are the same. For those instances there will be a section for entering specific measurements to aid in the design of your box and guides on how to alter cut sheets.

As with all programs that rely on many parameters, it will be up to the user to verify that any dimensions provided will work, before box assembly. The developer is not liable for boxes that do not fit due to user error, or lack of verification before assembly. When used correctly, this app will provide you with accurate box volumes and guides on how to generate cut sheets to fit your needs. The result will ultimately be based on the attention to detail by the user.
